Fully Removable And Washable Kennel Summer Waterproof Dog Mat

A Waterproof Mat Built for Kennel and Crate Life

Keeping a kennel or crate clean shouldn’t be a daily battle. This XL waterproof kennel mat is designed to protect the floor underneath your dog’s crate from spills, accidents, and everyday mess, while giving your dog a comfortable surface to rest on.

Waterproof Protection Where It Matters

The waterproof base helps stop liquids from soaking through to the floor beneath, making it a practical choice for crate training, kennel boarding, travel, or any spot where mess control matters. Spills wipe up easily, and the mat holds up well to repeated use.

Machine-Washable for Easy Upkeep

When it’s time for a deeper clean, the entire mat is fully removable and machine-washable, so keeping your dog’s kennel fresh doesn’t turn into extra work during shedding season or after muddy walks.

Sized for Larger Dogs

At 35.4″ x 26.4″, this XL mat comfortably fits dogs up to 110 lbs, making it a solid fit for most standard XL crates and kennels. It’s available in four colors — azure blue, dark gray, green, and holly — so you can pick one that fits your space.

Where It Works Best

This kennel mat pairs well with crate training, travel kennels, or as an everyday liner inside your dog’s regular kennel space. For dogs who also need a dedicated relaxation spot outside the crate, take a look at our full range of calming beds for dogs, or add a snuffle mat nearby to keep them occupied during crate time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this mat actually waterproof, or just water-resistant?

The base layer is designed to be waterproof, helping prevent liquids from soaking through to the floor beneath the crate.

Can I machine-wash this mat?

Yes, the entire mat is machine-washable. We recommend a gentle cycle and air-drying to help it keep its shape longer.

What size crate does this fit?

At 35.4″ x 26.4″, this mat is designed for XL crates and dogs up to 110 lbs. Measure your crate’s interior floor before ordering to confirm the fit.

Is the bottom non-slip?

The mat is designed to sit securely inside a crate or kennel without excessive shifting during normal use.

Can this be used outside of a crate?

Yes, it also works well as a general floor mat, travel mat, or liner for a dog house or outdoor kennel.

Will this mat hold up to a dog that scratches or digs at it?

This mat is built for everyday durability, but dogs with strong digging habits may cause wear over time. Supervision is recommended for heavy diggers.

How long does shipping take?

Orders typically arrive within 7-14 business days, with tracking provided once shipped.

Is this mat suitable for puppies in crate training?

Yes, many owners use waterproof kennel mats specifically for crate training, since accidents are common during this stage.

Can I use this in cold weather too, or is it just for summer?

This mat works year-round as a crate liner; it isn’t a heated or insulated mat, so pair it with bedding on top in colder months if needed.

What if my dog chews on the mat?

This mat is designed as a floor liner, not a chew item. For dogs with strong chewing habits, we recommend supervising use and offering one of our chew toys as a redirect.
